Some clients are referred to therapy through their general practitioner or psychiatrist following an assessment of their mental health. If you have a Mental Health Treatment Plan then you may be eligible to claim through the Medicare Better Access Scheme for psychological treatment. The rebate from Medicare is currently $96.65 per session.

 

Fee Schedule:

 

Individual session (50 mins +)           $195*

*According to the Australian Psychology Society, the recommended fee for psychological treatment is $311.00 per session (50 minutes). It is the discretion of all psychologists to set their fee and it is whenever possible, I will offer a service at a reduced rate to accommodate the needs of the community,

​​A concession rate may be negotiated for people on very low income or experiencing financial difficulty. Please discuss this when making your appointment.

 

Counselling services are also offered to clients receiving benefits through the Department of Veteran Affairs, the Transport Accident Commission and WorkSafe.
